Case study
Published 1 October 2026 · Founder identity · B2B data
BookYourData sells verified B2B contact data on a pay-as-you-go model. Its founder and CEO, Baris Zeren, is the public face of the company. For a data vendor, trust in the founder and trust in the product are the same question.
Who owns this company? Is it legit? Does the person behind it exist? Before this work, the answers were spread across the company site, social profiles, author pages and press. Nothing tied them together.
He got a personal website, bariszeren.com, built as the main source on who he is: his role, his company, his books, his education. It went live in July 2026.
The personal site and the company's founder page describe the same person as one identity. Both point to the same Google Knowledge Graph entries, one for him and one for the company. His author pages on Amazon and Goodreads are linked from both.
The founder confirms the company, and the company confirms the founder, from two separate domains.
Machines notice small contradictions. The founding year differed between sources, so one year was chosen and aligned everywhere. A buyer, a search engine or an AI assistant now finds the same facts wherever it looks.
"She is not just an expert; she is a builder of trust."
Baris Zeren, CEO, BookYourData, in his LinkedIn recommendation
Banks, merchants and partners check a payment provider before any contract, and they check its founders with it. A founder and a company that confirm each other from two domains make that check short. More in our payment brand protection service.
